Presentation Description:
This interactive panel will share how multi-sector partners can work together to establish municipal policies and changes the built environment that support walkability, bikeability and playability. Attendees will learn about local successes and lessons learned from Rochester New York from the perspective of residents, nonprofit organizations, and city officials. The panel will share how coalitions, robust partnerships, and resident driven action have led to a culture of health in Rochester, New York. Attendees will participate in the interactive panel, to learn from key experts on how to work together to impact policies, and leverage resources to advance children’s health and well-being.
